How We Start

After a long period of discussion, we finally came out with a decision to run our very first time of Social Engagement in University of Malaya!

This is our first year second semester of engineering (civil and environmental), one of our university course is GXEX1417 Social Engagement, in which we are divided into group of eight and volunteer in the society.

With an opportunity given in coincidence, we contacted one of the lectures in UM – Pn. Alimah. She is MBBY member who is planning a programme for youth and she what she needs are assistance and workforce. No doubt, we appeared in a RIGHT time!

On 30 March 2015, we meet up at faculty of Arts & Social Science, she gave us a lot of opinion and suggested some activities we can do for the programme. After that, we discuss the dates for our social engagement and finalized the activities.

Finally, we came out with a proposal with the venue set as library around KL area – Library Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (TTDI), a place around ten minutes we can reach from UM. And the proposal had been accepted by our lecture – Pn. Zubaidah, YEAH!!!!

We are glad with that and now is our turn to do social engagement!
